Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel

Loved the Minnesota themed rooms! Kinda hard to navigate too but that’s what GPS is for. Stayed on a busy weekend, Democratic Party convention had a floor rooms with a scotch fountain and hotel full of kids for sports. Pool is nice hotel bar is also nice. Close to bars and restaurants.

My first time staying here and I loved it. Upon arrival the staff was friendly and got me checked in very quickly. I went to find my room and immediately noticed I was on the floor with a bunch of kids sports teams. So I went back and asked them for a room away from the teams. Her co worker suggested to give me a room upgrade since I was a platinum member. Once I got to the room I saw that I didn’t get an upgrade. I was impressed by the cool decor all over the hotel. Very thoughtful art pieces throughout the lobby, the hallways and even in the rooms themselves. Everything looked very well thought out. I used the breakfast vouchers I received for breakfast in the morning. It was good for the buffet which was VERY lack luster. I’ve been to lower star hotels and they offer a better breakfast spread than this hotel. My only issue with my stay was the checkout time. Upon check-in I asked for a late checkout, she informed me since I was platinum status I could check out at 3pm. Later I left and when I arrived back at the hotel I checked again to ensure it showed the 3pm checkout since I moved rooms. She told me it did, then the next day housekeeping comes pounding on the door. I opened the door and she is confused to why we are there after 12pm checkout. I told her they told me twice I had a late checkout and then she left. The reason I ask for a late checkout is to not be disturbed by housekeeping. Other than that I would stay here again, I didn’t get the chance to use the pool and hot tub (which was the reason I booked the hotel). Every time I went down to the area it was full of kids and parents from the sports teams.

Nice and clean hotel conveniently located. We had a main floor room that was faced towards the pool which is much louder than we anticipated or expected. The upper floor pool facing rooms only have a balcony and not an entrance to the pool area itself. We would for sure stay at this hotel again, but just not a pool facing room as we like to go to bed a bit earlier and the noise was pretty loud during pool hours. We had a standard 2 queen room and enjoy that the room didn't have carpeting.

New, modern and amenities are nice, USB ports everywhere, nice reading lights, rain - like shower head, tile, no carpet hiding problems of all sorts. Staff is friendly and desk people are efficient and helpful! Pool is a very nice size, hot tub was nice and hot, although chemicals were overwhelming on Friday evening. Food Saturday was plentiful and hot with a good buffet variety. This hotel is one of the nicest I've been in for the price and location! All of us liked the wall art in the halls, Decor near the desk and overall presentation!

My company booked my stay here and let me tell you I fell in love with this property! At check-in I had a lady named Nicole and she was Amazing she went above and beyond to make sure my co-worker and I had a great stay. I will always stay at this hotel when I’m in Minnesota. Nicole made it so I want to return!!!!!

We had the best experience staying at this hotel. I am very picky about where I stay. We had different rooms a couple different nights for different reasons. The king suites are the best! Very spacious and the kids can sleep on the pullout couch. There is one receptionist in particular named Jasmine, who made her experience above and beyond exceptional. The food was so good in the morning at the breakfast buffet. We were blown away all of the choices and the actual quality Of the breakfast. The service was really great in there as well.

I frequent this hotel whenever my work brings me to the cities. Beautiful property with clean comfortable rooms in a great location. The staff is warm and welcoming. Haley at the front desk always goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed.

At the hotel, check-in is efficient and rooms are always clean. The gym has a good selection of cardio equipment, free-weights, adjustable benches, and a few machines. There is a nice, heated lap-pool and jacuzzi. Elite members get access to a lounge with food and drinks. Above average, for sure, but what really sets them apart is their amazing service.. I've been staying at this hotel for the past few months and have found the experience with the staff here to be efficient and professional, as one would expect. When given the opportunity to show how far above and beyond they will go, though, they truly shine. The first indication of this is the note guests get from their Director of Operations, Matt, before even arriving. Matt responds to eMails quickly and in a personal manner. I left an item at the hotel on one visit and Haley's housekeeping team found the item and place it in my room when I returned with a handwritten note and care package! This service also carries over to the restaurant.. Ashlea is always cheerful, attentive without being overbearing, and full of positive energy! She customizes meals for us and always makes sure we're well hydrated and satisfied with our meal. I travel for a living, and this is, by far, consistently one of the best hotels I've stayed at across all the staff and visit-to-visit. Whatever values the leadership team is emphasizing to the team, it's really working!
